Saw this outside a church on the weekend in Melbourne. Happy to see times are changing, might be slow, but at least there is change.

necessary.

Love everyone until they prove that they aren’t deserving of it. And even then, hope that they can get better.

[Sophie Turner on Sansa Stark ] She’s so intelligent, and I can’t stress that enough. Courtesy is a lady’s armor. She’s using her courtesy to deceive people, and she’s using her former self as a facade, and it works so much to her advantage, because people still think she’s this naive, vulnerable, little girl, and she’s really not. She knows exactly what she’s doing. She knows what game she’s playing! And no one else does. And she’s learned from the best — Cersei, Margaery, Tyrion, Littlefinger, even Joffrey. She’s learned so much from these people, and they don’t even realize it. They’re unwittingly feeding her to become this great kind of manipulator. King’s Landing can either make or break a person, and in Sansa’s case, it’s making her.

On disrespect: “I have been in relationships where a man has disrespected me, and I don’t need to be friends with that man anymore. I don’t want to be the one going, ‘I’m cool, because I’m friends with all my exes.’ There’s a reason why you’re called an ex. I crossed you off my list. Moving on. You cross a line, you need to know that you’re going to walk this earth knowing that there’s an individual who has no respect for you.”  Zoe Saldana for Marie Claire Magazine, August 2014

”It took me 10 years to be ready for this. I’ve got a pretty good foundation of friends and family that will always keep me grounded no matter what. But I don’t think I would have been ready for it 10 years ago. So I’m really happy with the way it worked out. You need to learn how to do this. You need to learn how to keep your cool, learn how to be a leader on set, learn how to act. F—-, I still know I’ve got a ton to learn. It’s all a learning experience. I’m going to school every day.” [x]

Trailer: ‘The Imitation Game' - Nov 21

Directed by Morten Tyldum, written by Graham Moore, starring Benedict Cumberbatch as Alan Turing, Keira Knightley, Mark Strong, Matthew Goode, Charles Dance and Rory Kinnear.

I just watched the first episode of The Bletchley Circle, which is about four women who were code breakers in WWII, and which has sparked yet another WWII related thing for me to read about. This movie is perfect timing to fuel this. Also, it looks excellent.

'This is Baloo, an American Black Bear- he's 12 years old, and he's been in this wildlife sanctuary here in Atlanta ever since he was a little cub, and all through his life, even into adulthood, he's been keeping company with a couple of animals- well, you just wouldn't expect.'

Film Meme: actors (5/6)

I’m very fortunate to be an actor. I know I’m very lucky to be doing this. And though I’m not sure where I’m going to end up—whether it’s in major films, independents, or theater work—I’m just happy getting to do roles that are really juicy, meaningful and allow me to keep adventuring the way I have been. - Sam Rockwell

This is the story about a border collie named Piper who gets taken to the pound. There she runs into her old mate Alex and has to learn the ways of the pound and meets a ton of cool new dogs in Netflix’s original series Orange is the new Bark

I would watch this. Someone animate it and use the original audio from the show. It would be brilliant.
