So, Iron Man 3 is basically
a 139-minute oral essay by Tony Stark answering Steve Rogers’s question as spoken in The Avengers: big man in a suit of armor; take that away: what are you?
And the answer is: still fucking badass.
I had the chance to meet him once. He came into the coffee shop I worked at, on a day that I wasn’t working but was there for some reason, and I ran away. I ran into the back and trembled. Then I went out to try to talk to him in the parking lot, and lost my nerve. He is beautiful, and probably would have been really sweet to me, but I was paralyzed. It was too huge a moment. I’ve loved him practically my whole life. In the moment I couldn’t move.
